Heyyy, My best friend Callie & I were lucky enough to see Jeffree Star this past Monday (December 6th) & we got to meet him!!! He is so fucking awesome, sweet, & beautiful..OMG.

Well here are some pix of how we looked. We got our wigs at a store called Beatnix, it is in Boystown in Chicago. & I did our make-up. I would say we looked pretty fucking awesome. Because Jeffree wanted a picture of us for himself!!

I've been a fan of KM's music for awhile, and I recently had the opportunity to interview KM & get the answers to some questions that have been on my mind. Just to give some background information his name KM means Kin of Music, and it fits him perfectly. Blending R&B and Hip Hop, his style is unique, and has a swag to it that cannot be denied. How did you get started making music?


I started of just rapping and singing all the words to some of my favorite artists at the age of 3. My brothers would make me perform whenever they had company (laughs). I would sing all the words to Michael Jackson, Dr Dre, Biggie, and 2pac.

As I got older I got more into hip-hop. I started writing at like 9 or 10. I would just write random rhymes down allday in grammar school. Then around 15 I got serious and started professionally recording at CRC. My first time there I finished recording a full song in 40 minutes flat; the engineer their was schocked and couldn't believe it. I have been professionally recording/producing/writing ever since.


How long have you lived in Chicago?


19 and a half years.


What kind of influence does Chicago have on you personally & on your music?


A vibrant one. its hard to explain, but is evident from my dialect to my accent that I'm a northerner; midwest to be a exact. (Laughs)


Which one of your songs would you say sums you up best as an artist?


None. They all show a different emotion or thought at one particular time, you can never judge an artist off of one piece of work, you have to look at their collection of works and look at them in relation to one another.


When it comes to your fashion, what designers/brands do you like & what are your influences?


Um. I like a preppy type look with a splash of rugged. I like polo, lacoste, Artful dodger, True Religion. My favorite shoe to this day is Creative Recreation, I even made a song (Rec Boy). I like trying different styles though.


How would you describe your ideal girl?


Idk yet. I haven't met her. I haven't realized til now that I don't know what I want in a woman, but when I find it I will know.


What is your favorite spot in Chicago?


South side!!!


What have been your biggest accomplishments in the past year?


1) Releasing my First single "Cherry Red Lipgloss" and getting 2,000 downloads the first day!

2) Doing over 2,500 downloads in the first day and a half, of releasing my free album (Trip To The Chi -http://limelinx.com/files/3f9be373b1f27ddf2b62eca437e82ae4)

3) Performing in front of thousands @ University of Illinois, biggest events "Cotton Club" & Headlining the greek "Step Show" (being the only vocal performer , and also Non U of I student). Also realizing that hundreds of people new the words to my single was a real big moment for me.

4) My single being played on WGCI.



What are your plans for the rest of 2010 & beyond?


Keep building a buzz, story and shooting a music video for a few of my songs!

911 Emergency !!!

Does anyone like Gucci Mane?? I have to say that I have been feeling him lately...(I recommend his songs Freaky Gurl, Wasted, My Kitchen, & Bingo). SO I was watching videos on YouTube & I came across his new video for "911 Emergency" & I was kind of all over it! It is the first single off his newest album "Burrrprint (2)". The main chick in this video is named Keyshia Dior and is a model & stylist from Miami - I have to say she is fineeee!! & I love her outfits & white lipstick she wears in the video. She has worked with many artists appearing in videos & her styling can be seen in the video for "Bedrock" by Young Money. Anyways the bottom line is that this is some hot fashion & hot people~! Well HELLO! Long time no post (busy busy) haha. Do you like my "look" ? see above photo. Those are Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses && yes they are legit NOT knockoffs haha. I borrowed them from my gurrl Karoline & ( yes I did want to steal them ). She "found" them at a party so SORRY to whoever lost these FIERCE shades in Chicago.

My bow head band is from Forever 21, but I swear everyone likes my bow - even a certain blonde biyatchhhh!!! :)

I guess that is about it....although I usually have a book with me in case I have to wait. I also like carrying my journal with me ( but I fear losing it ). Mostly I need to have my make-up with me at all times, I know most girls don't take their bag with them...but I get anxiety if it's not with me. I LOVE Urban Decay make-up and, surprisingly Sephora brand is AMAZING. It is very good quality, and a little bit more affordable. Tonite I'm not taking no calls cuz I'll be dancing!

Lady Gaga is amazing, I think this is well known. I am sure everyone has seen the "Telephone" video by now, but I am still not tired of talking about it! While "Paparazzi" is still my favorite video of Gaga's I LOVE "Telephone". At first I questioned if Beyonce really fit in all that well, I did come to love her in it though. I think she has a lot of fun with Gaga. They both came off really cute and BITCHY!! I love it.

Studded jacket is by Search and Destroy. I loved this scene, (I will be copying the Diet Coke cans in hair). Studded jackets are hot, but sometimes can be expected. I think this one fit her very well, and came off tough as shit, but sexy.

The scene in the diner was kind of funny :). I love how Gaga is making a trend of poisioning people. Did anyone notice the Great Dane she has in most of her videos is shown dead too? I have to laugh at that because it is insane! Gaga's outfit is by The Haus of Gaga, boots by Christian Louboutin. B's outfit is by Oscar Olima. I don't think I have EVER even liked American flag inspired clothing, but I think I am obsessed with these. LOVE!
